Braised beef and noodles

We had a late lunch yesterday, but it turned out pretty well! Since we have to go to a later mass, we had all kinds of time to let the beef braise in its wine & mint marinate. Rebecca got it sliced and browned before we had to leave. 3 short hours in the oven, and then a quick bit of heat to reduce it. Shred the beef, and that was done. Lucy and I made the pasta… We used the blade that were a little wider than tagliatelle , but not quite as wide as pappardelle, and to spice it up a little, we put a healthy bit of black pepper in them. While that was going through the machine, Rebecca was getting the caprese salad ready, and now I get the leftovers for lunch.
