I’ve gotten the last of the tile up on the walls. The idea on the surround was to put a double layer of 1/4″ hardiboard in, with our darker shade of tile surrounding it. I got the shower caulked. The caulk turned out to be almost a perfect match for the corner pieces that we chose. Yay!
I also made the tub surround. This entailed 1/4″ Hardiboard, and some framing. The manufacturer suggests two service access points, so I figured, I’d make a couple of 2×4 boxes, attach the Hardiboard …

The shower floor has now been grouted. We chose a shade of gray instead of the (Winter’s) bone shade that we are using everywhere else.
I made a second pass over yesterday’s grout joints to remove any haze from the epoxy. Things are turning out very well, so far.
