Figs!

We got two figs today. Not only that, but they were ripe, unlike that last one I got that tasted of paste… The rest of the garden is doing quite well in the damp heat of Georgia.

Bountiful Harvest

Our garden is starting to produce big time. Can’t really leave it unattended anymore.

Okra

In addition to zucchini and eggplant, we also have now gotten some okra from our garden. I don’t think we could grow this back in Fargo, and because we’re in the South, we figured it was almost obligatory.

Finished project

This is the finished project. The pavers are in, the plants planted, and the pine straw laid. Phew!

Rocks!

We got us about 4 cubic yards of river rock. We’re gonna spread it around miscellaneous parts of the yard. Maybe then it’ll look like the Red River of the North deposited a little something during the Spring flood?

Harvest

We have probably gotten all that we are going to get from our garden. Our tomatoes were a little late to ripen, but September was good to us, and we didn’t get a freeze. October has been fairly good, too. …
